Maiko Media is absolutely incredible! As soon as we began wedding planning, I knew I needed to find the best videographer to capture our special day. I'm SO happy I found Kelsey and Maiko Media. From our initial phone call, I knew I wanted to work with Kelsey - she is so talented, artistic, kind, and her work is amazing. Our wedding day was an absolute dream and Kelsey and her husband captured it so perfectly. We knew the wedding films were going to be great but we were in complete awe when we received them. Kelsey + Austin came all the way to Okinawa for our wedding day and we couldn’t be more grateful. They were our videographers for our wedding day and Kelsey also took our day after bridal photos. Not only were the video and photos beyond amazing, hanging out with Kelsey and Austin felt like hanging out with life long friends. They’re such easy going and kind people and my husband and I often try to find an excuse to go to Michigan to hangout with them. I have Kelsey’s photos as my Lock Screen, printed in our house, and I’m so excited to watch our wedding film again on our wedding anniversary. 2020 has definitely been a crazy year, but having these beautiful keepsakes to look back on is so special to us. Living in Japan where taking engagement photos is still a new thing, I was having a hard time finding a photographer that had the eye I was looking for.  It just so happened that Kelsey would be in Japan during the most beautiful season - cherry blossom season - to do our engagement shoot!  I was afraid my awkwardness would show up on the photos, but Kelsey has a way of directing and guiding gently behind the camera, allowing you to be your best and natural self.  The day was like a dream - and she captured it so beautifully.  I also had the privilege of  having her shoot our wedding in the States.  I am grateful that these are the photos my children and grandchildren will see of us years from now. I don't even know where to begin when it comes to Kelsey and Maiko Media. I had the privilege of Maiko Media doing the videography at my wedding as well as designing my wedding invitations! From the beginning Kelsey was accessible, helped me in the brainstorming process, listened to my vision for the day and put my heart at rest. Her attention to detail was excellent and went above and beyond what I had dreamed of. One of my favorite things about Maiko Media is her ability to create a video that tells YOUR story. When Kelsey shows up to your wedding, she has a knack for picking up on your personality and is able to capture that on camera. I was one of those brides who refused to believe she wanted videography. That is until I was only a few months out, not knowing exactly what I wanted, but knowing that we would want to see all the things I knew we'd miss on the happiest and most chaotic day of our life. I was referred to Kelsey from our photographer, and saying yes to her was the easiest part of planning I did! Kelsey saw our wedding in a way that brings me to tears just thinking about it. She has a beautiful eye, an incredible way of just understanding you, when we had never met prior to our wedding day. When we received the trailer, not knowing what to expect, I literally watched it on repeat, tears rolling down my face. It was exactly, and yet nothing, what I expected. It was perfect. Pretty much from the day we got engaged, my husband and I knew that if we could only pick a couple of things to splurge on for the wedding, our photographer was going to be one of them. We are so happy we did! Kelsey was absolutely amazing to work with. We met her first when she shot our engagement photos and what amazing photos! We could hardly wait to see what she would capture on our wedding day, and she and Evelin, her second shooter, were simply perfect. They captured so many moments that flew by far too quickly! Maiko Media was absolutely fantastic to work with! Prior to the wedding, Kelsey worked with us to develop the perfect package that fit our needs at a price we could afford. Throughout the wedding day, Kelsey and her assistant photographer were very easy to work with. They were fun and made us laugh, which helped calm our nerves and helped us be at ease. It's so important that photographers are personable. It honestly seemed like they were just old friends that we had known forever, rather than photographers we had only known for a few months. After the wedding, Kelsey finished our pictures and sent them to us very quickly. We actually got to see our pictures before we returned from our honeymoon! And the pictures, my goodness, the pictures are beautiful. They captured all of the romantic, sentimental, touching, happy, and silly moments we wanted.
